LaCrisia Gilbert


Cris Gilbert earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree at the LeTourneau University and a Master of Dispute Resolution degree at Pepperdine University School of Law. She also attended University of Texas at Dallas where she studied Government with a Concentration in Law and Society. Cris served as an administrator for local and county governments for 20 years, and as an educator teaching courses in conflict and dispute resolution programs at various colleges and universities.  She has presented on the field of dispute resolution across the country at law schools and for judicial conferences. She is also the former CEO of the nonprofit Dispute Mediation Service, Inc. in Dallas, Texas.
 
With Cris’ dedication to training and teaching, she entered the mediation and nonprofit services industry to not only help clients reach their unique conflict resolution and settlement goals, but empower and educate them along the way. As an educator, she hopes that her clients and prospects will see the nurturing nature of her approach to mediation conflict resolution and team building.  Because of her dedication to her clients, she was recently opened her own mediation, consulting and training practice.
 
Cris’ family, which includes her husband, William, two adult sons, and grandson is her first priority. She also enjoys reading and learning as much as she can to assist her clients.  Cris is also a member of WOVI Women of Visionary Influence, which provides support and mentorship to women in the community, WEBB Women Engaged in Building Business and an affiliate member of the National Speaker’s Association of North Texas.
