Renor Shumpert


Renor started her professional career with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in 1998.  During her 23 year tenure at the IRS, she held positions as an Internal Revenue Agent, Program Coordinator, Tax Exempt Group Manager, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Branch Manager. She currently serves as an EEO Technical Advisor.

Throughout her career, Renor has been committed to the principles of Conflict Resolution and Equal Employment and Diversity.  She has worked extensively with individuals with disabilities and has partnered with the business community to educate employees on the importance of conflict resolution and the significant role of diversity   in the workplace.  Renor has actively served in her community as a volunteer for the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), the National Association of the Mental Impaired (NAMI), the United Way Grant Program, Dispute Mediation Services, Galaxy Counseling and the Center for Non-Profit Management.

She holds a Bachelor Degree in Professional Accountancy from Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS and a Master Degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University in Garland, TX.   She is also a 2008 Graduate of the Dallas Blueprints for Leadership program sponsored by the Center for Non-profit Management.

Renor is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is trained in mediation.  She currently serves an adjunct professor in the Conflict Management program at El Centro College and she also certified in Managing Workplace Conflict.
